 Northeast from Copán the CA-11 winds its scenic way through lightly
wooded mountains and fertile pasture to LA ENTRADA , a distinctly
unlikeable junction town 55km northeast of Copán. La Entrada's only
redeeming feature is its proximity to the small site of El Puente; if
you get stuck here, Hotel San Carlos (tel 898 5228; US$15-25), at the
junction of CA-11 and CA-4, is the best of the available accommodation .
